Senior Qs (Full Time)

Pre Contract
Involve in overall contract tendering process which includes taking off, pricing, prepare supporting document, and compiling for submission.
To manage, monitor, and coordinate all QS works (take off for BQ preparation & price analysis, tender document preparation, cost estimation, budgetary control & reporting, etc.)

Post Contract
To prepare details to cost breakdowns of each element activities of subcontractors, suppliers, etc
Prepare and monitor Letter of Awards (LOA) / Work Orders / Purchase Order (PO)
To prepare estimation c/w detailed cost breakdown for an alternative proposal
To acquire quotations from suppliers/subcontractors and assessment of quotations, negotiate and award of sub-contractors and suppliers. Prepare and monitor material delivery schedule and wastage control
To assist Contracts Manager in ad-hoc duties responsibilities are given from time to time
Prepare monthly progress claims, sub con claim & sub labor claim until FInal Account
To prepare the claim for EOt and Loss and Expense
To raise variation order when necessary
Those with less experience will be considered for Junior QS based at HQ

Job Requirements
Possess at least Degree in Quantity Surveying or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Construction industry specializing in infrastructure works
Excellent knowledge of materials, pricing, and sourcing skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Able to work independently and meet targets
Able to lead a team Site QS
