About the Job
Cost Planning & Estimation:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs.
Provide accurate advice on cost and procurement strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
Tendering & Procurement:Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts.
Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure cost efficiency.
Contract Administration:Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms.
Manage any variations or changes to the project scope and evaluate the financial impact.
Valuation & Payment:Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors.
Ensure accurate valuations of completed work for payment certification.
Post-Contract Services:Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation.
About the Manager/Team
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Project Director.
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 6 years of experience in the construction industry.
Graduated with a diploma or degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or relevant field.
