We are looking for Senior SEO Content Executive who sits within the International Consumer Product team which is spread across all the markets that we do business in. The team’s mission is to connect people with property and to become a part of every property conversation, and we do this by designing market leading digital tools, content and features. This person will:
+ Work closely with the content editors and content producers to deliver content strategy to achieve organic traffic improvement via keyword-optimised content.
+ Generate content ideas to support content marketing and SEO efforts.
+ Optimise articles to maximise organic search audience opportunity.
+ Conduct keyword research, content auditing, competitor analysis & content gap analysis, SEO forecasts and link building activities to discover content topics to drive consumer engagement and audience growth to websites.
+ Edit and enhance existing content to improve readability and SEO-friendliness by checking for on-page SEO optimisation elements, suggesting best practices article formatting, keyword targeting, header tag implementation and grammar.
+ Develop and own the Content SEO strategies to drive traffic, engagement and high-quality leads for iProperty.com.my products & brands.
+ Grow iProperty.com.my’s content section readership, converting visitors into leads, and expand our organic search and social media reach.
+ Set performance baselines, report on the success of Content SEO initiatives and monitor SEO competitor intelligence for key competitors
**Who are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone with the following set of skills:
+ A degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Media or related field.
+ Someone with a few runs on the board – 3+ years’ experience in either SEO, content marketing or inbound marketing, in particular experience with large scale (enterprise) level websites either via agency or in-house teams.
+ Experience with owning organic and paid search strategies in a highly competitive market.
+ Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, ahrefs, Bing Webmaster, etc.
+ Someone who is familiar with Content Management System (e.g. WordPress)
+ Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia with comprehensive editing and proofreading skills.
+ Ability to translate English to Bahasa Malaysia and vice versa.
+ Bonus if proficient in Traditional and/or Simplified Chinese.
