The Role Responsibilities The purpose of the Senior Technology Governance Specialist is to Run the Technology Process & Standards Governance Process for T&I for a designated portfolio of IT Standards and Processes Business Ensure technology processes and standards in Technology are supporting the organization in a fastpaced, innovative, and yet regulated global environment. Processes Identify and consult key stakeholders regarding the application and cost-benefit trade-offs of industry frameworks, ensuring practicality of adoption and implementation. Involve other operational groups – audit, legal, Technology units to provide feedback on Technology “Service” oriented practices as well as regulatory and industry compliance requirements. Prepare and coordinate implementation plan for introduction of new processes where required or significant changes to existing processes including any training that may be required. Plan and conduct performance and capability reviews on Technology Processes. Prepare and report Technology process and standards ‘health’ status to relevant management and committees. Ensure adherence to Role and WorkProduct Standards are met for a portfolio of Technology Processes Risk Management Define and implement initiatives to reduce systemic residual risk for a portfolio of IT Standards and Technology Processes Governance Perform process and standards reviews and assessments to attain continuously improvement. Have an End to end view of processes in the Technology Process Universe in the Bank and ensure well coupled interfaces across the processes are established using appropriate tools. Manage audit and regulatory requests related to Process and IT Standards governance. Collaborate to drive the refinement of Role and WorkProduct Standards for Processes in an increasingly agile environment Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the Bank. Key Stakeholders Business CIOs Technology Process Owners across T&I IT Standards Owners across T&I T&I Risk Managers Our Ideal Candidate Process / Standard development (hands-on and in a consulting capacity) covering:Frameworks: COBIT 2019, ITIL v4, FAIR, PRM-IT, NISTIndustry Standards: ISO for full spectrum of a Technology Process UniversePractices: Lean, Six Sigma, Kanban, System Thinking, Human Cantered Design Knowledge of IT Operations, Information security, Cloud, SaaS, Data Management, Risk & Control Core Project Management (Agile & Traditional) Process / Framework development and documentation with IBM Rational Method Composer (RMC) and/or IBM Tivoli Unified Processes (ITUP) Collaboration implementation with JIRA & Confluence (for general productivity in governance) Developing detailed, compelling and analytical deliverables to convey complex thoughts and ideas to various stakeholders Application of modern process engineering practices and techniques for Lean and Agile operations and delivery Data and Information Architecture definition & implementation Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally Customer focus, integrity and relationship building skills, consensus building skills, success in influencing and ability to deliver measurable results Ability to collaborate, communicate, influence and work effectively with a broad cross section of functional areas and levels Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Business Administration, Management of Information Technology or similar Recent experience working in the financial services industry or comparable experience. Professional certification with track record of successful application of agile working practices is an advantage
