Job Description Primary Objective? Manage and oversee the test environments and testing tools to ensure their availability and to provide the maintenance and support.
Lead, supervise and manage Enterprise Test Services Senior Test Engineer, Automation Test Engineer, Enterprise Test Services Test Engineer, contract resources, vendors under the program/section.
Manage and own the Bank?s test environments for critical applications and test environments for testing tools. This includes responsibilities such as environment setup, deployment, version upgrade, automation, L3 (3rd level) support and L3 trouble-shooting (for SIT and UAT). The job also requires the incumbent to work closely with various system owners, team leads, technical architects and vendors
Build strong stakeholders relationship both with internal and external, influence stakeholders ensuring it is aligned to organizational objectives
Maximum re-use of the possible components & documenting the knowledge base gained from all engagements
Oversee the administration and governance of Testing Tools day-to-day activities. Design, update, and optimize the toolsets including workflows, screens, reporting, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
L3 (3rd level support) to user as User Administrator and System Administrator of Testing Tools
Liaise with internal (e.g. infrastructure) and external support team (e.g. vendor) to troubleshoot issues
Enable sharing of the common body of knowledge through knowledge repository
Manage the communication on updates to Senior Management, PSC, SBG/SFG Heads,SBS/SFS of the Test Environments and Testing Tools
Guide and develop team members skillset and knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Test Environments support:
Develop process to track test environments required for IT service requests
Manage and monitor the performance of services & tools to ensure outstanding operational effectiveness
Create long-term plans to deliver environments to support sprint-based development
Resolve test environment conflicts between teams competing for limited testing resources
Automate test environment activities such as deployment, version control, codes synchronization
Budget planning and utilization based on forecast environment requirements, new technology in order to improve test process efficiency
Negotiates with and manages 3rd party vendors contributing to contractual requirements for test infrastructure setup, maintenance support, environment enhancement.
Establish changes and improvements to standards and procedures for the testing environments. Periodic review and enhancement of infrastructure to meet changing business requirement
Handles department BCP/DR matters
Testing Tools support:,

Control the System Experts pool to facilitate efficient management of third party software and engagement with business users
Test Automation:
Identifies cross business unit optimization opportunities and drives improvement effort in order to improve operation efficiency as per RHB Group target. E.g. develop automation regression test suite for critical systems such as DCP, REFLEX, BDS and etc.
People / Resources/Compliance:
Mentor / coach the resources on testing processes to ensure they are able to advance their career in Automation and Performance Testing industry
Supports team in execution of responsibilities removing barriers when necessary especially in technical test
Retain skilled testing personnel to ensure the team is able to deliver task efficiently and in-line with the team goal.
Responsible for the administration, supervision, coaching, appraisal, development and performance management of staff working in the Section.
Constant review and ensure the projects undertaken by team members meeting the Testing goals and objectives. Define their work priorities without business / project impact.
Manage and develops team staffing plan, identifies hiring need, develops the position description, conduct recruitments
Comply to regulatory and compliance guideline by regulatory bodies

Requirements:?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, business or any related discipline
Minimum 10 years? experience in test management, systems development lifecycle, with successful track record in leading, managing and delivering IT projects/program in test environment and testing tools management.
At least 8 - 10 years of working experience in Banking/Finanncial Institution enviornment
At least 3 years of working experience in test environment management, preferebly in DevOps environment or Agile methodology.
Has experience to manage a large team size of staffs. Leading a team of Test Management Professionals comprising Test Leads, and Test Engineers ? both functional and automation
Has experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and testing tools for functional and non-functional. Automation scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
Knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process (i.e. Project SDLC) in Agile methodology and Waterfall methodology
