Service Engineer ( ELV & Security Systems)About the roleInfinite QL Group Of Companies is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer (Security Systems & ELV) to join our Maintenance & Support Team.
As a full-time member, you will be responsible for after-sales support and services, preventative maintenance and upkeep of our security systems and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of these critical systems.
What you'll be doing
Proactively maintain and service security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with ELV systems, such as lighting, audio, and video equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential problems before they arise.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand system requirements and implement changes or upgrades as needed.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance.
Prepare recommendations and reports to improve system performance and minimize downtime and outages.
Test and evaluate the latest technology and conduct testing and proof of concept for customer system upgrades.
Provide on-call support and respond promptly to emergency situations.
What we're looking for
Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, electronic, or security systems maintenance.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in the security or ELV systems industry.
Strong working knowledge of security systems, ELV infrastructure, and maintenance best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work.
Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and to prioritize tasks effectively.
