Role Summary: The ASEAN Services Finance Leader role serves as a business partner to ASEAN Services General Manager(s) and their growth and operations leaders to drive sustainable commercial growth & operations excellence in the Services business including efforts to drive commercial/operations rigor and simplification. It also includes oversight for FP&A or Controllership. The role reports to AKA and ASEAN Services CFO.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead commercial finance analytics (eg. contract and parts pricing, capture rates, cost to sell/serve, product lifecycle analytics, operations productivity, service revenue segments profitability etc.,) & provide meaningful insights/ actionable outcomes to leadership to drive profitable growth and operational rigor.

Partner with leadership and staff to drive operational rigor, analyze service segment profitability, cost to serve and lead/support strategic initiatives to improve productivity in services business.

Modality growth & profitability analysis/ key metrics (including franchise view) - provide actionable insights to leadership and staff, recommend potential solutions/actions and track progress. Lead and provide analytics on strategic initiatives at service and franchise level.

Actively partner with FP&A team and provide insights for developing estimates/forecasts, operating plans, blue print reviews and operating/strategic reviews
Collaborate/ Lead cross-functional projects to drive simplification/ standardization and/or improve rigor in key Commercial/Operations and Finance processes for better/sustainable growth & profitability.

Collaborate on projects related to internal controls over financial reporting for example Policy 6.0 process & controls, Contract T&C's standardization, contract offerings etc.

Develop and improve financial processes/tools - for instance, live & dynamic reports/dashboards, scenario based outcomes, budgeting and estimating processes, project pay-backs/ROI's.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with 4 years progressive financial work experience.

1. Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
2. Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas.
3. Leadership experience: has experience leading team members balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus.
4. Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
5. Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros)
6. Confidence / Assertiveness: Strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position; for example, work closely with business leaders to achieve business objectives while driving controllership/GE Values
7. Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows. Fluency in English.
8. Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas.
9. Experience leading in a matrix environment.
10. Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
11. Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.
12. Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP.
13. Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma.
14. Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), or graduate of other financial leadership programs.
