Shipping Executive

**Job Responsibilities:- **- Monitor and Handle Shipping Documents: Oversee and manage all shipping documents for customer exports to Thailand, Malaysia, and South Africa to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.- Liaison between the company and customs authorities to ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.- Forwarders coordinator: Collaborate with forwarders to ensure shipments run as planned. Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping companies to ensure cost-effective shipping solutions.- Handle import goods: Ensuring all imports comply with relevant regulations and standards & Coordinate with Chinese suppliers to order and receive goods in a timely manner.- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers to place orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods. Work closely with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders, shipping, or documentation.- Any ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the management to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the shipping department.- Adapt to new tasks or responsibilities that align with the company's goals and objectives.**Job Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.- Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or related field.- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and shipping software.**Working mode**:- Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 5:30pm- Saturday, 8:15am - 12:15pm**Working Location**:- Juru, Penang**What We Offer**:- Competitive salary.- Opportunities for professional development and advancement.- A supportive, team-oriented environment.- Casual attirePay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Fixed shift**Experience**:- Supply chain management: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- Mandarin (preferred)- English (preferred)
