The Chipsets Logic Team is part of the Chipsets Silicon Group (CSG) within Silicon Engineering Group and are responsible for developing Soft IPs, Subsystems and Gaskets for client and server chipsets.
As a Chipsets Logic Pre-Silicon Verification Graduate Trainee, a typical day may include, but is not limited to:
Learning definition of verification testbench and building RTL models for verification
Learning validation and verification of the functionality of new architectural features of next generation designs by developing test plans, content or tools
Finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests
Analyzing and using results to modify testing
Develop automated tools or scripts for the pre-silicon validation environment

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Good foundation in pre-silicon verification/digital logic design.
Experience with various tools and methodologies including but not limited to:
o System Verilog,
o Python/Perl/Shell scripting
o VCS/Synopsys simulators
o interactive debugger
o RTL model build
o testbench development
o power-aware simulation
o design-for-test
o design-for-verification
o coverage-based random constraint simulation
Good understanding on PC Architecture
VLSI or Structural and Physical design flow/methodology experience
Strong analysis, debugging skills, and creative in problem solving
