Site Engineering Lead
who will be accountable for managing all aspects of operational engineering at the Kuala Lumpur site including Maintenance, Utilities, Electrical and Automation. This role will also cover management of teams, budgets, small to medium sized capital projects and on going operational efficiency improvements.
Other Key Responsibilities:
Leads all Engineering Activity for the Manufacturing Site, Including:Engineering Management of site (Facilities, Process Engineering, electrical engineering, Maintenance, Software Controls, Cartons, etc)Engineering upgrades for the SiteLead site OEE improvement & unit cost vs targets and benchmark.Engineering budget managementLeads Capital Projects on the Manufacturing Site, including Capital BuyoutsLeads Automation agenda for the siteBuild Team: Hire, coach, develop and build capability for Engineering TeamManage engineering related due diligence if applicable
Key member of Senior Leadership Team who (with the SLT) lead on key site objectives, including EHS, Quality Service, Inventory, employee engagement and and Cost management.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with
:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, major in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
10 – 15 years + Engineering experience within a manufacturing operating in Pharmaceutical/Chemical/FMCG industry, with 5+ experience of managing maintenance teams
Able to lead a team to maintain performance.
Familiar with 5’s, lean management, FMEA methodology.
Knowledge in IQ, OQ validation documents.
Can work in a fast environment paced environment and work at flexible/tended working hours
Have an equipment trouble shooting skills.
Knowledge in RCA.
Chartered Engineer or equivalent qualification would be preferred
