Smt Engineer

Job Description JOB REQUIREMENT Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 2 years to 3 years of working experience related to SMT process development in stencil design, pick and place equipment programming and reflow profile optimization?
Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical/Mechatronic/EE or equivalent
Knowledgeable in IPC standards will be an added advantage
?Good problem solving skill
A self-starter with tenacity to resolve technical challenges.
Ability to make sound technical judgement and recommendation
Can consider fresh graduates
Responsibilities?? :
Identify and drive product / process improvement activities for continuous improvement in SMT yield, scrap reduction and better cycle time without comprising on product quality.
?Involve in SMT process development and improvement on pallet design, stencil design, Pick and Place equipment programming, Reflow optimization and other associated processes.
Deploy six sigma methodologies and coordinate six sigma projects to enhance process capability, yield, and product performance to exceed customers? expectation.
Update and maintain up to date documentation for process FMEA, process control plan, work instructions, and related documents to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
Carry out process/ product training to other departments when there are process changes.?
Liaise with QA for jig & fixture, material and product quality buyoff; IE on process improvement and cost reduction.
Performs work assigned from time to time.
