SOC Power Estimation and Optimization Engineer Job Description Intel's Silicon Engineering Group needs high energy engineers to help drive power efficiency and optimizations for new client SOC designs.These skills are critical to getting the highest performing products in ever decreasing power envelopes.We are seeking an experienced engineer to build and analyze SOC/Product level models to predict and optimize power & performance. This individual would also be involved with evaluating product performance impacts, from device and parasitic scaling, through employing large data-set simulations and analysis to provide feedback for product design and process decisions. This individual would also own product optimization from pre silicon thru post silicon, driving post-silicon correlation back to pre-silicon power and performance models.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience with statistics and large data-set analysis
- Prior experience with FE/BE/Validation design.
