We are looking for aSoftware Engineer (Python & AWS)to join our R&D platform engineering team in Kuala Lumpur!
In this role, you will be working closely with developing and maintaining our cloud platform applications, including business integration, subscription, license provisioning, service management, and providing analytics or reports to our operator partners and customers.
In this role, you will work closely on developing and maintaining tools that support our operator partners.
Your responsibilities will include diverse activities such as developing our new Partner Platform, building new microservices, and creating and maintaining connections between internal systems.
Additionally, you will implement Partner-facing APIs to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operator partners, with a particular focus on provisioning and activation.

Key responsibilities:
Discuss with Technical Product Manager and teammates on technical analysis, technical design and work planning of feature development.
Work with a scrum development team under continuous delivery model and full agile development life cycle with Jira.
Handle feature development, bug fixing and analysis, effort estimation and release planning.
Ensuring product quality through unit testing, system testing and CI/CD pipeline.
Continuous research on product/ service enhancement by ways of code/ process improvements and/or new technology/ framework/ platform.
Work together with the team on code review, refactoring work and product enhancement.
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
Good knowledge in Python, with experience of at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, etc.)
and integrating front-end web application to back-end services via JSON/REST API.
Good knowledge in Java (e.g.
Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot Kafka for Java).
Development experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
Basic understanding of OOP principles and design pattern.
Proven experience building a non-trivial client-side or server-side application in Python.
Experience working with code versioning tools, such as Stash, GIT or TFS.
Hands-on experience with setup, use and configuration of Jenkins build jobs.
You'll get bonus points for:
Web development skills in latest web application development technologies (VUE, GraphQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery, etc.)

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
