Software Engineer - Vb.Net (Klcc)

Our client was incorporated in 1995 and was one of the first companies in Malaysia, accorded Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) status by the Malaysian Government. They provides IT Management Services and Application System Solutions to Insurance, Aviation, Banking, Construction, Telco, Data Center and Government institutionsResponsibilities: Participate in custom enterprise application development and maintenance for large corporations both within Asia and worldwide. Participate in the software development life cycle. Perform system analysis and design, testing and documentation. Perform unit testing and system integration testing. Maintain and support application post-implementation activities. Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks. Any other tasks assigned as required. Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience: Applicant with experience in projects and exposed to the full system development life cycle, object-oriented programming, integration with middle ware, and usage of database systems would be advantageous. Preferably with Front-End Web Development experience, relevant to the following skill sets: ? VB.NET ? SQL ? HTML, CSS and JavaScript ? MySQL, MSSQL or other relational database design and operation Good to have skills: ? Multi-threading ? Windows services ? TCP/IP or SFTP programming knowledge Strong problem-solving skills.
