Job Description Resposbilities:- Lead & Execute Sourcing/NPI Activities for new projects Including:-
Perform sourcing and cost comparison activities for new parts, or alternative vendors(both local and overseas suppliers).
Liaise with customer Commodity Manager for pricing approval, Vendor selection and purchase approvals for parts used in new projects.
Lead team of executives to SECURE New Project material for all NPI build stages EB/PP/SOP until successful handover to Purchasing Department.
Lead and update New Project Material Tracker by ensuring information up to date and material arrive on time.
Close communication with internal departments to ensure material for all NPI builds are secured correctly and on time.
Execute and follow up DPAP (part approval) process from submission by Vendor to distribution of approval sample back to supplier.
Setup new vendor and prepare New Vendor Profile including follow up with vendor on all documents required.
Other Routine Jobs for Supply Chain Support:-
Perform sourcing and cost comparison activities for alternative vendor where shortage/MOQ occur.
Liaise with customer Commodity manager for approval on price changes MOQS, premium buys, risk buys etc. for current parts.
Ensure quotations are updated timely by vendors and approved by Customer.
Ensure inventory information are updated accurately and timely in system for any changes.
Execute and follow up DPAP (part approval)process from submission by Vendor to distribution of approved sample back to supplier for part under Engineering Changes.
Liaise with other department especially Programme & Purchasing to accommodate production demand and changes.
Establish cordial relationship with suppliers.
Request Complaint Declaration from Vendors where necessary (e.g.SVHC,RoHS,Legal agreement, etc.).
Periodic review of Outstanding POs, Inventory Aging.
Undertake any hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Business Studies/Administration/Management , Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience as team lead in similiar field.
Prior technical / Engineering knowledge and ability to speak / write Mandarin will be added advantages.
Skills Needed: Good interpersonal,Excellent negotitation & networking skills (Microsoft Office), Understanding of market dynamics , Leadership, Managing Project Development and sound business judgment, Able to work under pressure, willing to multi -task and accept chalenges.
