Details of the offer

Ensure the kitchen activity operate in a timely manner- Monitor and record inventory and if necessary, order new suppliers- Provide support to junior team members with various task including line cooking, food preparation and dish plating.- Train new kitchen employee's/part timers to meet restaurant and kitchen standard.- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulation.- Determines how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.- Ensure all equipment in the kitchen is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with local standards.- Ensure proper grooming and hygiene standards for all kitchen staffs.- Ensure all kitchen employees maintain require food handling and sanitation certifications.- Ensure proper purchasing, receiving and food storage standards in the kitchen.- Identifies the developmental needs of kitchen staffs and provide coaching, mentoring and also helping them to improve their knowledge or skills.- Cost control and to do planning to achieve company's target**Salary**: RM2,700.00 - RM3,700.00 per month**Benefits**:- Cell phone reimbursement- Meal allowance- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Fixed shift- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Commission pay- Overtime pay- Performance bonus- Yearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- STM/STPM (preferred)**Experience**:- sous chef: 2 years (preferred)**Language**:- chinese, malay & english (preferred)
