SummaryDetailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Administratively configure and manage key security solutions.
Experience with malware analysis.
Provide 3rd level security solution support ensuring specified service levels are met.
Make low-level risk assessments of requested changes, making sound decisions before modifying system parameters.
Quickly attain an understanding of the functionality and technology of operating systems and business-critical applications.
Provide input to and work with the larger security team to develop and refine additional monitoring content and use cases.
Exercise basic forensic skills related to providing only relevant data when requested.
Provide general security advice/consultation to application/platform owners and convey complex technical details simply.
Upgrade/install application or operating system software and hardware.
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of EDR, Application Control, SIEM, Content Filtering, and Vulnerability Management.
Intermediate understanding of Project Management and Change Management.
Intermediate understanding of Architecture and Solution Integration.
Knowledgeable in IT Penetration Testing, Vulnerability assessments, Incident Response Management, and Security Architecture.
Proficient knowledge of information security standards and regulations.
Knowledge of computer operations/applications support in a client/server environment.
Knowledge of IT requirements for end-to-end solutions, including security, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
Skills and experience in installing and managing complex security solutions.
Ability to predict, detect, and respond to potential malicious factors.
Strong operating systems knowledge (both Microsoft and *NIX).
Strong resource management and prioritization skills.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to provide functional or technical project advice to individuals outside the immediate work unit/team.
Typical Experience4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Typical EducationBachelor's Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
