JR65603 Sr Manufacturing Process Engineer
As a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer at Micron, you will play a key role in developing brand new memory and storage solutions. Working at our innovative facilities in Batu Kawan, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to build flawless processes and foster a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Develop and optimize manufacturing process frameworks to ensure exceptionally high performance.
Drive continuous improvement projects to improve yield and reduce cycle time in our manufacturing processes.
Provide engineering solutions that bring benefits and strictly adhere to quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and implement effective strategies for process improvement.
Support product test proliferation and manage excursions to maintain world-class standards.
Adhere to and Promote Safety
Identify and promptly report potential hazards.
Follow all safety procedures and area work rules, including the use of accurate PPE and adherence to lockout and chemical safety protocols.
Operate and maintain equipment according to manufacturer and company guidelines to ensure safety and efficiency.
Use accurate lifting techniques and maintain ergonomically accurate practices.
Education Required
Educational background:
Electro-Mechanical Engineering, mechanical Engineering or related field of study
Experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing process engineering.
High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong experimental design and data analysis skills.
Capacity to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and personality types.
Comfortable interacting with various groups across all levels, including Production, Engineering, and Management.
Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing process engineering, particularly in product engineering, is preferred.
In-depth understanding of process flows, controls, and interactions, including the impact of process changes on yield, performance, and reliability.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Effective multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Experience coordinating engineering efforts across diverse project groups.
Ability to interpret and resolve complex, technical, or ambiguous requests and problems.
Travel
Willingness to travel occasionally, with a valid passport or the ability to acquire one for international travel.
