We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineering Supervisor to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team in our Shah Alam office. Reporting to the Plant Manager your focus will to lead and develop the engineering team in technical, project coordination, implementation skill set, processing methodologies, TPM, mould tool servicing and repairs. Key Responsibilities: ·Ensuring all manufacturing, toolroom, engineering, quality control equipment & machines, testers, jigs & fixtures, mould tools, label and polybag, flow wrap printers are in good condition. Ensuring these are maintained to the manufacturing standards and safe to use. ·Leading team to deliver strong performance in OEE, spare part management, mold setup reduction through implementation of an effective TPM program for production equipment. ·Optimize Output and Productivity Improvement Project execution, fully support Product Quality Control and Improvement activities through machines, tools, Jigs & Fixtures Improvement and Modifications ·Ensure MRO / departmental spend is inline or better than AOP. ·Provide manufacturing engineering support for product development (NPI’s), product improvement, tooling transfers and cost down (VE/CE) projects, transitions with proper plan & execute implementation of manufacturing activities in relation to the support the abovementioned activities ensuring effective coordination between all ISC functions ·Work with the design, tooling and process engineering function for new projects into Honeywell manufacturing plant to ensure optimize manufacturability ·Ensure jigs & fixtures, cycle times, method of manufacture new products in terms of Assembly Process & End of Line Test Testing & Equipment are developed for appropriate product build ·Develop and implement process optimization solutions that will improve labor efficiencies, material flow and product yields throughout the plant, with the application of, but not limited to: ·Plan and implement changes to production floor layout based on space requirements and workflow optimization for maximum efficiency as well as to implement ergonomic improvements for manual assembly. ·Aid in development of standard hours to resolve production capacities and staffing requirements for each department and product family. ·Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. ·Coordinate all manufacturing activities for NPIs and transitions, setting up new production lines, new routings and setting up Bills of Material for new processes and system updates in team-room and SAP checks. ·Generate & update PFMEA and SOS whenever required (quality issues resolution, RCCA, process and material changes) and align to control plan and SOS. ·Drive effective investigation and troubleshooting of process related issues impacting safety, quality and delivery performances. ·Confers with vendors and manufacturing engineering team to resolve product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products per specifications and quality standards. ·Lead Productivity, Quality, Process Improvements, supervise and measure the realization of the benefits from improvement activities by recommending of feasible expenditure for Lean Manufacturing Projects and Process Improvement Execution related projects. ·Lead and deliver specials or late customization request. ·Create and handle data for label, polybag and flow wrap printers. ·Oversee ECR/O request, ensuring effective implementation ·Implement and introduce Honeywell Operating System practices with the primary objective of keeping abreast with Best Practices adopted by Best In Class companies. ·Support Lead Specialist and HOS HR specialist who may be external resources ·Own the site level implementation teams (team governance) for HOS maturity improvement ·Ensure goal alignment and driving HOS site calibration tool within the internal & external team through to shop floor ·Share best methodologies & key learning & HOS site calibration updates. ·Review and report site HOS metrics: safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory turns and to ensure realization of business benefits ·Plan for AOP budget on required expenditures, investments on equipment, machines, jigs & fixtures to enhance productivity and operation cost effectiveness ·Drive HSE elements assigned, support and comply to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, policies and procedures Key Experience & Capabilities: ·Bachelor’s Degree in any field ·Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar role within the engineering and operation ·Planning Skills, Leadership Skills, Analytical Skills, Strong Engineering Skills, Communications Skills and technical knowledge About Us The world is changing.
