Job DescriptionJob Overview
Perform value-added tasks by clearing, sorting, and arranging raw materials for putaway/delivery and supplying the production according to demand.
Responsibilities
Perform daily operations of Goods Receiving, including receiving goods, offloading parts, clearing parts, pasting necessary labels, moving parts to pending stock areas, unpacking, and repacking.
Perform daily operations of Dispatching, including packing, system booking, pasting necessary labels, moving parts to designated areas, and loading onto trucks.
Ensure all activities are performed properly by self-inspecting part numbers, descriptions, quantities, conditions of parts, and other specific requirements.
Conduct milk runs to production including system bookings.
Ensure all parts are arranged properly according to storage requirements.
Report all non-compliance issues to immediate supervisor for further action.
Adhere strictly to company policies.
Ensure the movement of materials from receiving dock into the warehouse, internal milk run, and dispatching docks is orderly and follows proper channels and controls.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S at the workplace.
Comply with company safety rules and regulations.
Perform daily maintenance of MHE and update maintenance records.
Support supervisor with cycle counts, troubleshoot inventory variances, and handle urgent shipments.
Handle indirect incoming shipments, perform data entry for indirect shipments into SAP, and deliver to end users.
File incoming documents for indirect shipments and liaise with respective parties to resolve daily operational issues.
Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
QualificationsAt least 1 to 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment within the logistics department.
A minimum of SPM qualifications.
Able to work as part of a team with good teamwork skills.
SAP knowledge is a must.
MHE (Material Handler Equipment) Training course is an additional advantage.
Result-oriented and committed to meeting all tasks on time.
Reliable and trustworthy with a good working attitude.
Initiative to learn and adapt to new changes.
Able to work in a 12-hour rotating shift pattern.
