Every role in SEAOIL contributes significantly to the company. Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Assists in negotiating, writing and executing and/or reviewing of agreements and contracts in behalf of the company
2. Advises on contract status, legal risks, and legal liabilities associated with different deals or transactions of the company
3. Reviews documents, contracts and agreements or other written materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements
4. Monitors the applicability and initiates the enforcement of contract provisions in the event of breach/violation
5. Ensures that the company and affiliates performs its respective obligations under the contracts and agreements in relation to the corporate policies and procedures
6. Handles all legal compliance requirements of the company and affiliates
7. Coordinates with the external counsels of the company in relation to the various proceedings before quasi-judicial administrative and regulatory agencies
8. Researches and anticipates unique legal issues that could impact the company and affiliates
9. Performs other assigned tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Preferred Qualifications for the Role:
Law School Graduate
Current member of the Philippine Bar
At least 3 years relevant work experience in corporate or a legal firm
Critical Expertise: Contracts Management, Contracts Review, Legal Consultation, Updating of Regulation, Organizational Skills, and Litigation Skills
Realistic Job Preview: Will do field work to address legal issues in stations and depot, and visit national agencies, if needed.
Handle simple cases.
Work together with Corsec
Willing to travel nationwide
Expectations from Candidates
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
