1. Position Objective: To monitor production activities and process in order to achieve Company's objectives in terms of productivity, quality, cost reduction and on-time delivery along with workers' performance, discipline and morale. 2. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: a) Ensure machines are in good condition to produce accurate and acceptable output and yield target. b) Awareness and practice of technical skills to collaborate with Engineering Department for troubleshooting of machine. c) Ensure the efficient and sufficient supply of material and indirect material supplies for the whole shift during shift changeover. d) Ensure the optimization of manpower, machinery and materials according to SBU targets. e) Train and motivate production personnel to be able to perform routine production processes in meeting product quality, yield and productivity. f) Drive improvement activities at the technician, line leader and operators level. g) Control of waste and quality. h) Encourages harmony and a healthy working environment. i) Provide feedback and ideas towards improvement projects to increase efficiency. j) Ensure good discipline and good working ethics among workers. k) Maintain housekeeping/5S and cleanliness of working area. l) Safety, Health & Environment:- It's your responsibility to take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to cooperate with the Company on its safety policies & programmes besides complying with any instruction and measure on occupational safety and health. 3. Performance Measures and Standards: a) Achievement of production output, waste and quality target. b) Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel. c) Housekeeping/5S d) Number of accidents, injuries, illnesses and property damages e) Number of customers' complaints f) Teamwork and discipline performance during working hours. g) Adherence to Company's policies and number of disciplinary problems. h) Time taken to solve problems.
