To enhance our successfulQuality Teamin AT&S Malaysia in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, we are looking for a passionate individual.
Your ResponsibilitiesManage all the quality issues associated with the suppliers that are under his/her charge and carry out periodic reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager.
Initiate appropriate continual improvement programs with selected suppliers to improve quality levels, reduce costs, and develop suppliers to a desired standard.
Conduct material/product evaluations based on internal or customer-specific requirements.
Execute relevant qualification programs aligned with the organization's chartered business plans and technological roadmap.
Update the Qualification Status in Lotus Notes and the project matrix in the common server.
Benchmark the outcomes of evaluations with other AT&S sites to identify potential gaps, risks, and shortcomings during the qualification proceedings.
Conduct supplier audits to assess suppliers' capability levels in supplying conforming materials/products to AT&S.
Release qualified materials/products via the Lotus-Notes database and maintain the approved material list in SAP.
Raise documentation changes and updates where appropriate.
Act as a communication channel or contact window between suppliers and relevant internal and external customers towards resolving reported queries, issues, and concerns.
Establish plans and actions for achieving set targets within defined timelines.
Monitor and review the department's performance indicators to ensure continual suitability and effectiveness.
Provide inputs to the supplier quality agreements where appropriate.
Maintain the Supplier 8D in SAP and Supplier Audit Reports.
Monitor supplier quality performance indicators.
Provide progress updates on all improvement and qualification projects.
Maintain all relevant documents and records from suppliers.
Handle off-spec requests from suppliers.
Handle claim compensation according to reported quality concerns.
Conduct periodic supplier ratings based on the given format and standard.

Your ProfileBachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or applicable technical field from a recognized institution or any equivalent field.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in PCBA manufacturing/Semiconductor/EMS Industry.
Broad experience in various quality standards and other international management systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO/TS16949.
Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audits.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience of factory manufacturing process control and quality systems.
Factory auditing experience is beneficial for the position.
Exposure to various automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Problem Solving.
Strong analytical and social skills.
Fluent communication and articulation skills in business-level English, strong presentation skills, and ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal and supplier management are highly required.
Good knowledge of statistical and quality tools.
Able to work under pressure.
Strong in data analytical tools such as JMP/Minitab and Power BI is an advantage.
Strong applications in computer software such as Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
