Job Description
ABOUT YOUR ROLE: You will drive, support and execute the new/ existing projects together with the Commercials team for Non Label Business - Graphics, Reflective & Tape.You will also develop and implement supply chain, material management, and logistics plans that affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products in order to improve product flow. You will be based in Kajang, You will report to the Senior Process Improvement Manager, ASEAN who is based in Thailand.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Provide project management and Supply Chain, Materials Management, and Logistics for Graphics, Reflective & Tapesproducts in order to serve Customer requirements with appropriate cost and lead time.
- To focus & manage on PO management, data accuracy and shipment on time/ in full.
- To liaise closely with Supply Plants located in different locations outside Malaysia.
- To liaise closely with Business in understanding market demand & trend.
- To develop the S&OP process (Sales & Operations Planning)
- Manage Inventory Provision
- Manager Service Performance across ASEAN.
- To liaise closely with Marketing in support of new projects/product launches which require Supply Chain for quick action and execution.
- To drive & manage Graphics, Reflective & Tapes projects.
- Expert in Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) process. Provide guidance to the team on ELS projects.
- Provide leadership to select local and/or global SML initiatives.
- Develop SML Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSM) for assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies.
- Lead benchmarking of SML-related topics in support of divisional goals.
- Develop, analyze and manage SML expenses.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.
- Lead cross-functional team on projects. Communicate and work with all levels of the organization. Manage a large multi-function program or a set of projects. Interact with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
- 8 years of experience in Planning or S&OP Exp
- B2B Business exp is required.
- Exp in ELS preferred.
- Supply Chain Process Improvement exp is required.
- Understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.
- Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
- Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
