Are you our new System Test Lead in TechnipFMC, Kuala Lumpur?
Job Purpose
Responsible for on and offsite system testing coordination, planning, preparation, execution and test leadership. The goal is to ensure testing activities (individual and system) are executed safely, within budget, on-time and with client satisfaction. This is achieved through extensive planning, coordination with engineering teams, project management, third party services and Client representatives.
Main Accountabilities
- Manage and execute system testing within allocated budget.
- Responsible for safe and on time delivery of system testing communicated from project leaders, direct or indirect managers.
- Serve as focal point between TechnipFMC and Client during testing planning and execution phases.
- Responsible for providing System test execution guidelines documentation and planning of Test site layout drawing.
- Responsible to prepare system test proposals by working with Engineering, Project management and quotation team.
- Supervise and administer safety program at testing site.
- Interface with Quality assurance to ensure non-conformance reporting process is followed.
- Coordinate equipment and personnel movements to and from testing location.
- Responsible for execution of test activities in accordance to test procedures.
- Ensure all test documentation is maintained and submitted as required.
- Responsible to generate and provide comprehensive System Test Report.
- Coordinate project closeout activities with Client as required.
- Coordinate all activities with Third Party Services
- Coordinate and host all on-site visitors
- Promote a positive HSE environment within the test site and portray a strong HSE leadership.
You are meant for this job if
- Degree in Engineering OR equivalent years' experience with minimum 2 years offshore experience AND 5 years experience in subsea product, project execution, subsea operations and equipment testing experience in the oil industry and equivalent area.
- Possess effective leadership ability (motivating, planning, negotiating and interpersonal communication skills) with diverse (multi- cultural, multi-disciplined) team environment.
- Embodies a customer-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Capable of developing schedule, quoting and test.
- Flexible to relocate to remote and non-remote location and travel frequently for extended periods of time in filed environment (7-40 days periods)
- Possess good PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software and scheduling software.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
