Job Description
18 ! The number of countries supported by FRA Operations Team that delivers financial reporting and accounting services, financial compliance and process expertise in the areas of Record to Report, Request to Pay, Travel and Expense and Invoice to Cash. This role is responsible the transition of South Africa, MENA and Egypt for Cash Management activities and also backup for APAC region.
Key Responsibilities
• Supports transitions and knowledge transfer, monitoring critical deliverables. Supports processes are migrated to the blueprint as per agreed timelines
• Operational oversight to provide services at expected levels with a clear customer focus, including handling the exceptions. Provides functional guidance to the team members. Interacts proactively within FSC and Divisions to ensure accurate accounting, and financial reporting. Resolve all raised issues and disputes.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders, including accounting authorities/auditors. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes
• Support the measurement and delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets. Proactively challenge the Status Quo, making fact based recommendations
• Ensure proper document management (incl. document reception, sorting, scanning and validation). Ensure accurate accounting of financial transactions and accounting specific questions are well addressed and solved
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of adequate accounting records to meet the requirements of local legislation and Novartis required standards
• Perform payments activities, monitor payment error flag & payment rejection. Process Improvement activities
Minimum requirements
• Bachelor degree or higher
• 2 - 4 years Accounting experience, with in-depth functional & process expertize in P2P / AP Process. SAP, SRM Knowledge is preferred.
• Proven track record to work optimally in a multi-national, matrix organization. Customer orientation, professional attitude, reliable
• Operational Excellence Continuous Learning, interpersonal savvy and being resilient
• Requires strong attention to detail and analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English as this role will require constant communication and dealings with our business partners and counterparts in the region
