Teamcenter Solution Consultant

The role is part of the rapid expansion of the technical team for DTS's Enterprise Solutions Team.
Applicants who accept the role will be provided with training from online, coaching, and On-the-Job (OJT) to build up the skill set to implement and support customers in Malaysia, with the opportunity to support and work with our overseas customers once they achieve the necessary technical skills.

Essential Job Functions:
Supports technical design activities related to application software, data, databases, packaged solutions, and infrastructure components.
Designs, develops, and distributes technical reusable components.
Participates and supports sales in the selection, acquisition, configuration, and troubleshooting of packaged solutions and technical infrastructure components.
Contributes to applying the Catalyst framework to determine appropriate methodological steps for an engagement.
Assists with gap analyses highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices, and competition.
Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues.
Communicates and manages in formal presentation settings including medium-sized groups, internal and external project teams, and business unit events; develops written communications to address varied styles and information needs.
Hands-on implementation of the solution (if required), including guiding junior staff.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, business, computer science, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in technical analysis and design, preferably within a consulting environment.
Experience working with the company, client, and/or equivalent vendor-mandated methodology.
Must demonstrate 3 or more years of experience in two or more of the following Teamcenter specific skills:
An expert at developing interfaces and workflows in Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions for managing engineering and manufacturing data.
Proficient in configuration management of parts, assemblies, and installation of engineering data.
Proficient with using Teamcenter to create and manage engineering/manufacturing data and related workflow.
Knowledgeable and proficient in creating and managing engineering change processes within Teamcenter.
Experienced in using SQL databases to manage engineering/manufacturing data, including programming interfaces and collaborating data contained in Oracle based database systems with data contained in Teamcenter databases for migration and management of data.
Proficient in monitoring process logs, improvements needed, and implementing changes to the Teamcenter application configuration to enhance and improve operations.
Proficient in developing block diagrams and logic flow charts, and developing data and security models.
Proficient in preparing test, debugging, and validation plans for PLM implementation and upgrade.
Experience with integration of Teamcenter with ERP System.
Experience with MCAD & ECAD integration.
Working knowledge in Teamcenter 2-tier/4-tier/Web/Active Workspace/multi-site architecture.
Knowledge of C/C++, Teamcenter ITK, Teamcenter Style sheets & Transfer modes, Java, PLMXML.
Experience with the configuration and/or customization of PLM systems based on solution design documents.
The salary will be compensated according to experience, which consists of salary and incentives.
