In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.**Job Description**:- Definition & Maintenance of a Product Group Purchasing Strategy for PCBA and other Electronics considering TTM and Value Stream targets- Product Group interface on PCBA and other electronics from Purchasing to responsible Business Unit's area.- Leading and responsible for the RPP activities of PCBA, E-Components and other Electronics in the respective Product Group (creation, implementation, cooperation cross-functionally)- Early Supplier involvement in TTM to support Product Innovation and Target Cost Achievement (PILUM, GENESIS) for PCBA and other electronics including Sourcing plan, BOM analysis, target costing, RFQ, TSD, Sourcing decision, sampling, prepare mass production, ISPA and ISIR part release- Support Annual Price Negotiation by providing new potential business opportunities of Product Group in pipe-line- Challenge and support Material Field buyers to achieve Best Material Field Costs- Support Material Field Buyers for contracting (e.g. SE-contracts, NDA, Concept Competition etc.) for PCBA and other Electronics- Create transparency of costs of Product Group by benchmarking (support the Global Product Champion) for PCBA and other Electronics- Responsible for achievement of Best Costs in Product Group (Benchmarking, TCO, RPP) before/after SOP for PCBA and other Electronics- Responsible for Product Group related quality activities (e.g. ISIR, 8D, PQA, etc.)- First escalation level for Quality and Logistics related supplier issues from Plant for PCBA, e-Components and other Electronics, support design change and spot buy activities including identifying source, alternative and spot buy implementation- Market survey to strengthen E-Comp supplier base (e.g. diodes, triodes, mosfets, transistors, capacitors, PMIC, DC-DC, etc) to predict and follow market trend for better availability and deliverySupport selection of new suppliers and new components/commodities- Takes care of purchasing related topics/tasks in the Value Stream for PCBA, E-Comp and other Electronics**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, other science/technical field or equivalent- At least 4 years working experience in purchasing and/or electronics components field- Expert in Electronics and/or familiar with key electronics industry, market and the E-comp makers and distribution network- Knowledge and understanding the industry and processes of key electronics components and/or related productsproject management, experience in ERP system, e.g. SAP, will be added advantage- possesses analytical and entrepreneur mindset and with creative ideas, resourceful, openness and trustworthy person- Ability to assess risks (quality, cost and delivery), solve complex issues, take sound decisions and drive issues closure independentlyAbility to make contacts and intercultural skills- Self-motivated, result-oriented, proactive and a team player with strong interpersonal, communications and leadership skills- Ability to manager personnel time to ensure completion of assignmentsAdditional InformationBy choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.
