ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
To develop, implement and quality assure workable digital systems / IT solution designs which are aligned to IT architectures / standards and deliver required outcomes for business change activities. To assess and develop low level design and build of solutions and/or manage the lifecycle of the technology infrastructure.
Reports to: Technical Design Manager – SAP & Integration
Reporting Level: Manage Self
Geographic Scope: Global/Local
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Asses, Design and work with internal /external teams to deliver solutions to the BAT IT Services organization Ensure low level design and build of solutions are carried out in accordance to global standards Delivery of services to the exact design specification of the Solution Architecture team Relationship management of outsource provider, ensuring SLAs are adhered to and that appropriate quality control processes are in place Ambassador for the services and vendors delivering the services Provide advice and feedback to other service owners Manage the lifecycle of the approved products and solutions in use in BAT within their technology domain, to ensure that they remain within support and maintenance. Understand vendor products roadmaps and life cycles to ensure relevance to BAT Ensure that any products that are due to go out of support have a plan for remediation and deployment plan For those products that have a major version update or a change of solution, liaison with the Solution Architecture team is required

IT Project Manager / Design Manager – to deliver agreed work products to time, cost quality Solution architects, IDT Services - collaborate with to ensure any defined solutions are fit for purpose 3rd Party Vendors – Develop non-commercial relationships to collaborate in defining and designing the solutions External - keep up-to-date with changes within the IT and FMCG industries and with peer groups at other organizations, Special interest groups and Best Practice experts IT Standards & Governance – to ensure effective application of standard processes
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
Do you have experience in systems integration? Do you have experience in managing product and solution life cycle? Do you have good vendor management skills?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Degree educated, with at least 3 years of experience working in IT Services specialized in IT operations / Run IT Proven track record of having worked in a role facing senior user representatives and proven communication skills to non IT personnel At least 3 years of working experience in large scale MNC IT organization , using in-sourced and out-sourced IT services in a global capacity Industry experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain preferably in FMCG environment System Integration experience in one of the integration software ( SAP CPI , SAP PI/PO, ApiGee, Mulesoft, ) Knowledge in Integration technology /messaging standard/Protocol and exceptional handling design ( Web service , SOAP , MFT)
