Job ResponsibilitiesMarket Analysis- Understand the abrasives market to present the right products.
Customer Development- Visit end-users and distributors to build relationships and expand sales.
Territory Growth- Increase sales and develop business in the assigned region of Malaysia.
Distributor Management- Work with distributors to ensure product supply and service excellence.
Sales & Operations- Provide quotations, negotiate deals, track competitor activity, and meet sales targets.
Coordination & Follow-up- Collaborate with internal teams, handle customer inquiries, and ensure timely payments.
The Successful ApplicantA successfulTechnical Sales Engineershould have:
Bachelor's Degree or Qualifications in Engineering or Marketing, with 5+ years of industrial tool, abrasive, or related product sales experience.
Familiar with managing industrial end-users and distributors; experience with manufacturers and third-party dealers is a big plus.
Strong negotiator, communicator, and capable of generating sales via cold-calling and face-to-face meetings.
Independent, result-driven, entrepreneurial, and able to work under pressure.
Experience in marketing activities (roadshows, product launches, training) and sales forecasting.
Proficient in English; additional language skills are a plus.
