To maintain, service, repair and ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, LPG gas systems and buildings are in good working condition at all times.
To perform regular checks of the facility and take corrective actions where required.
To provide a safe, clean and functional environment as well as a comprehensive maintenance service to the building equipment and machines.
To monitor external contractors and ensure services are carried out according to the scope of work stipulated in the contract.
To contribute to the planning, implementation and monitoring of preventive measures for all building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
To carry out works in public areas of the building in such a way as to minimize disruption, risk and inconvenience to tenants, shoppers and others.
To perform regular checks of the facility and comply with Urbanise System requirements, all ELV systems, UPS systems, Fire Protection Systems, Fibre Optic Systems, and ACMV systems in good condition.
To take daily, weekly, and monthly utility (Electricity and Water) meter readings for all the tenants.
To maintain operating logs on all equipment; record, correct, and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences.
To attend and assist with regulatory inspections.
To assist the safety and security officer when needed for maintaining safety equipment e.g.
fire protection systems, fire doors, CCTV, PA systems, and intrusion alarm systems.
To support the safety and security officer in maintaining safety equipment in the building according to the SecCheck manual.
To perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager.Qualification
Possess at least a Professional Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, PW4 or equivalent;
3 - 5 years' working experience in facilities management, maintenance management, or building operations maintenance.
Hands-on knowledge in handling all technical aspects of building and facilities (air-conditioning systems, chillers, cooling towers, fire alarm systems, boom gates, and ticketing systems among others).
Possess knowledge to troubleshoot ACMV/ELV systems is an added advantage.
Well versed in all laws governing building management.
Good team player with the ability to work well with others.
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English and prepare simple reports on work completed.
Experienced in shopping centre operations.More Information
