SMT is an organization that is innovative in manufacturing technology, materials and supply chain development. The candidate is expected to play a vital role with supplier’s development and continuous improvement. This position performs the lead role for Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting and providing Engineering/Technical solutions to Remote Factories (RF) making Lam Products. Other Job Responsibilities Design, develop and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures for new products Plan the labor, schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices Work with internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and drive company objectives Provide seamless interface with SQAD global commodity heads to account teams and other members of SQAD Organize and own internal and external Review Meetings Define and clarify technical issues with customer installed tools and is able to clearly communicate the problem statement and issues. Able to provide key Technical Analysis for Problem Solving process Interface with RF personnel and provide Technical solutions to Electrical/Electronic problems Work closely with other Test Engineers to provide an optimum trouble shooting methodology Minimum Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of working in Semiconductor Equipment Industry Proven track record of managing technical projects to completion while accomplishing goals. Hands on experience in working on PLC based equipment’s. Experience in troubleshooting with aid of electrical schematics. Solid understanding of various problem solving methodologies to include 8-D/5 why Project Management / Attention to details Effective verbal, written communication and presentation skills Preferred Qualification
