With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch's Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.
PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics' fab in Dresden, Germany.
The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.

Job DescriptionJob Overview
To ensure mass-production capability of tester system for final testing of System-ICs.
To ensure performance of Tester system including processes to achieve KPI targets.
To implement and release new products, technologies, and test programs on Tester systems according to lead plant specifications.
To continuously improve performance of Tester systems in combination with complete testing units.
To ensure uptime and reduce unplanned downtime of Tester systems.
To reduce budget for maintenance and spare parts for Tester systems.
What you'll do
Overall interface and responsible for all tester system and test program topics.
Responsible for setting up complex test systems:Minor changes on existing test programs according to test specifications.
Release test programs and test systems according to release procedures.Responsible for assuring readiness according to specifications and defining maintenance and calibration plans.
Also, secondarily responsible for carrying out maintenance and calibration.
Lead tester and test program related troubleshooting, analysis, repair, and documentation of downtime root causes, including localization of failures on test systems and complete testing units.
Instruct operators as per work instructions and service teams for corrective and preventive maintenance in alignment with production management.
Contact and cooperate with test system suppliers in case of complex issues and for spare parts management.
Cooperate in simultaneous engineering teams, project teams, and 8D teams (also lead teams) and hold lots dispose.
First contact person for test system suppliers and engineering as equipment owner for all issues including appointments, technical discussions, questions, and delivery dates.
Responsible for tester system related documents: work instructions, troubleshooting guides, release and maintenance guidelines, process FMEA, control plans, etc.
Responsible for yield and test time target achievement and improvement.
Analyze test data and MES to derive and implement optimizations regarding test time, yield, and test depth.
Think outside the box to develop new data analysis and artificial intelligence solutions for improvements.
Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.
QualificationsWhat you'll need to succeed in this role
Minimum 5 to 10 years working experience in the related field of semiconductor testing.
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Software.
Able to work in a team for transferring technical know-how.
Able to source off-the-shelf solutions to meet production testing needs.
Able to analyze production/test problems and resolve them.
Able to understand different programming languages.
Able to lead technical discussions with the product design team.
Able to lead a team of engineers in designing new test solutions.
Able to instruct operators.
Able to implement lean processes.
Able to understand correlations between quality, cost, and delivery, and derive cost-saving measures.
