The incumbent is expected to provide ongoing support for products post manufacturing release and deliver operational excellence through cost reductions, yield and cycle time improvement. The incumbent will work with our Probe/Test Manufacturing Suppliers to perform the following key functions: - - Execute day to day sustaining of test manufacturing activities with sub-contractors (Lot Dispositions, Hardware Troubleshooting/Repairs, Equipment up-time, Tester Utilization OEE tracking) - Support test capacity and flexibility by coordinating equipment/ hardware movements, build, purchase and buyoff - Review and execute process to ensure test solutions received is adequate and meets all agreed expectations (example yield entitlements, number of hardware, test times etc.) - Interface with Product Line teams on all phases of product life-cycle - Identify opportunities and execute action plans to drive yield improvement and test time reductions to meet targeted yields and costs The incumbent will also support with the respective US Product Line Engineering & Asia Product Engineering organizations to ensure smooth transition of products from New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing The position will report to the Test Product Engineering Manager Attributes of a successful candidate: • Applications knowledge and analytical skills for major Teradyne tester platforms (ETS364/ Flex/ J750/ 93k PS1600) • Familiar with major test handler platforms and test hardware designs (loadboard, sockets, change-kits) • Strong data analysis skills and familiar with Statistical Tools (JMP) • Good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels • Conducts with utmost honesty and integrity • Self-directed with strong desire to be part of a winning team Qualifications: Education – Minimum Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Experience – Preferable with ( 2 years’ experience in a High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing environment preferably in a Test Product Engineering role.
