Trucking Executive

Job Description
• Manage shipments delivery with minimal errors that have been picked to final delivery
• Actively liaise with customers and transport companies in relation to shipments delivery arrangement
• Troubleshoot shipments that encounter issues (truck breakdown, rejections, delays, etc.) by mitigation process between customers and transportation vendors
• Manage the performance of transport vendors and ensure that they follow the customer SOP and safety procedures
• Ensure the drivers makes correct and timely updates for each shipment delivery
• Manage carrier performance during non-compliance delivery
• Coordinate with transporter on truck booking/reservation and send pre-alert booking on daily basis
• Submit monthly transporter performance report on OTD/ delivery Accuracy/ Truck Utilization
• Maintain delivery accuracy of 99% / OTD of 98%.
Requirements
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas is a must:-
• Logistics or freight forwarding environment
• Land transport (trucking)
• Good understanding of trucking operations with industry-leading SLAs and improving operations performance
• Proven ability to effectively work together with external transport vendors and partners
• Understanding the delicate relationship working with customers and sub-contractors, from negotiation till completion of transport delivery tasks
• Demonstrate proven record of success in managing fluctuating volumes in highly pressurized environment
