Primary DetailsAssist underwriters in underwriting all the assigned line insurance risks including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing deals.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.
The Opportunity:The purpose of this role is to support underwriters in assessing and managing insurance risks, handling inquiries, compiling underwriting data, liaising with intermediaries, and finalizing insurance agreements while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Your new role:Assist underwriters in underwriting all the assigned line insurance risks including triaging inquiries, preparing underwriting information, following up with intermediaries, and closing deals.
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines.
Regularly collect, compile and analyze market info to share with the team.
Support credit control in payment collection when needed by coordinating with intermediaries.
Track, report and analyze team's referrals, backlogs and other productivity and efficiency related management requirements.
Be the digital ambassador of the team.
Recommend and implement initiatives in streamlining policies, processes and procedures to meet business needs.
Provide interpretation and advice regarding policies, processes and procedures.
Maintain accurate data in relevant systems and databases.
About you:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
Preferred: Basic Knowledge of Insurance.
