The Head for Information Technology and Systems provides strategic and operational directions for planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the organization’s current and future information management and technology infrastructure and services.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Oversees the ITS functions of solutions delivery, service management, infrastructure management and operations, quality management systems and information security management to ensure that customer requirements are met.
2. Determines the current and long-term information management and technology needs, and develops overall strategy for enhancing the organization’s strategic priorities and mission-critical operations through cost-effective and sustainable technology solutions.
a. Works in a consultative approach with other department heads as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness
b. Ensures that information management and technology projects are coordinated across all departments and fit with the Company’s overall information and technology strategy
3. Oversees the company’s Project Management Office (PMO)
a. Establishes and implements the PMO framework
b. Administers the project gating process
c. Monitors project implementation
4. Develops and oversees the department’s annual capital and operating budget
5. Provides leadership, technical advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out the department’s major plans and activities
6. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications for this Role:
Graduate of Computer Science or related courses
Preferably with experience in a start-up environment
Adept in "building things right, building the right thing, and building things fast"
Agile mindset
Can drive innovation, and address concerns on "building things fast" and cybersecurity risk
Expectations from Candidates
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
