A visual merchandiser in the furniture industry creates and implements visual displays to attract customers and increase sales.
Their responsibilities include:
Design and implement attractive and functional store displays to maximize product appeal and sales.
Strategically position products to highlight key features, new arrivals, and promotional items, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey.
Stay informed about current trends in furniture and home decor to keep our displays fresh and relevant.
Ensure all merchandising displays comply with company standards, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.
Maintain all VM standards by continually reviewing product placement and merchandise layout to maximize opportunities.
Job RequirementsMinimum of 1 year of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry.
Background in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, or Interior Design is highly preferred.
Strong visual design and space planning abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage administrative tasks and paperwork efficiently.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a keen eye for aesthetics.
Passionate about home and interior design, with a strong understanding of industry trends.
Must be able to travel and possess own transportation to different retail store locations.
