Job Description
? Control and maintain all stock movements for both incoming and outgoing goods.
? Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store). Inspect products for defects and damages during receiving, storage and dispatch. Keep appropriate records and advise management of issues.
? Prepare and complete orders accurately for delivery or pick up according to schedules (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
? Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items in quarantine for quality control checks to be performed.
? Responsible for the issuance of materials and supplies to all departments.
? Organise warehouse space and optimize space utilization.
? Conduct regular warehouse inspections ensuring a clean, organised and safe working environment
? Comply with adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels are kept.
? Participate in cycle counts annual stock-takes within the factory.
? Actively participate in the continuous improvement and compliance of the ISO:9001 quality management system.
? Ensure efficiency and accountability of the goods reception and delivery operations in accordance with the companies? policies, procedures and internal control guidelines.
? Maintain and improve internal controls and business process.
? Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as instructed by superiors from time to time.
