Accountant

**Job Responsibilities: -**- Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities and provide accurate reporting- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities- Analyse spending and other financial data and make recommendations- Conduct cost analyses, benchmarking, and risk assessments- Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analysing a wide range of data sources- Prepares financial reports for internal use at the entity by collecting, analysing, formatting, and presenting information- Ensure compliance with industry standards and rules, as well as state/federal legislation- Build and coordinate on budgets and forecasts preparation- Preparation of draft annual financial statements, supporting schedules and liaising with Auditors for the annual audit exercise- Liaise with tax agents, consultants and stakeholders- Builds and maintains a corporate financial model that details the entire entity's operations and projects future performance- Keep up with industry news, trends, and opportunities- Assisting with development, implementation, and review of fiscal policies- Performs ad hoc analysis for management as required**Job Requirement: -**- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and result oriented with ability to meet the deadline.- Experience in auditing, management accounting, costing and planning- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.- Strong in MS Excel eg.
