Job Description:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team at Maxis Berhad in Malacca City, Melaka, MY. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This is a part-time position requiring 3 years of experience in accounting.
Responsibilities:- Manage financial records and ensure accuracy- Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements- Assist with budgeting and forecasting- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies- Assist with audits and tax filings- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- CPA certification preferred- 3 years of experience in accounting- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel- Hardworking and able to work independently- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines- Leadership skills to collaborate with team members and guide junior staff
