Exciting Accountant role for a Well established FMCG brand in Selangor Your new company This well known FMCG brand is looking for an Accountant with strong reporting experience. This person would be assisting the finance team with the preparation of management reports.
Your new role Supporting period close and year-end processes through compiling accounting entries and analysing account information Reconciling complex accounting activities (e.g. lease transactions, manufacturing) and using cross functional relationships to resolve financial discrepancies Providing key reporting to internal stakeholders Monitoring and strengthening internal controls by preparing and recommending accounting policies and procedures Supporting internal and external audits Review work prepared by others and recommend opportunities to improve effectiveness or standardisation Leading transformational projects in the areas of User Centricity and Digitisation to deliver new digital tools and processes locally, regionally, and globally What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's Degree /Professional qualification in Accountancy/ Finance Minimum 3 years of working experience in Finance C oming from a FMCG, Retail industry is an added advantage Must have experience working in a MNC Company, Big 4 Audit experience would be an added advantage Have good leadership experience Have strong attention to detail, experience on both external & internal audit and strong governance mindset. Ability to benchmark best practices and making recommendation improvement on processing. Good communication skills. Good analytical skill. Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.
