Accounting Officer(Ar,Ap)

•Position: Accounting Officer. •Location: Kelana Jaya (SS7), Petaling Jaya. Our client is a long established international freight forwarder and logistics provider. In Malaysia, their business operations are based at Kelana Jaya in Petaling Jaya. Currently they are actively recruiting accounting candidate(s) to join their finance team based at their corporate head office at Kelana Jaya area. This is a permanent junior executive level position for candidates who are looking to expand their skill sets and knowledge in managing and preparing corporate commercial accounts. Roles & Responsibilities The position are permanent in nature. Successful candidate will be responsible for accounting portfolio of the company's business operations. Job Scope & Responsibilities: •Manage a business unit's accounts according to the statutory requirements and standards accounting conventions •Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. •Validate a high volume of invoices and processing them using correct codes. •Control the credits of customers. •Handling weekly/monthly debtors reports. •Manage cash flow monitoring. •Reconciling statements weekly. The candidate profile We are looking for Malaysian female, who would have at least LCCI Diploma qualification in Accounting. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years experience working in managing accounting activities. Qualification & Experience •Candidate should be in age group 21-30. •Minimum qualification: LCCI Diploma in Accounting. •Some accounting experience in previous employment. •Familiar with SST will be an advantage although not absolutely required. •Proficient in English,spoken and written plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin. •Knowledge of computerized accounting system.
