We are a global MNC group headquartered in Germany within the manufacturing of machine knives and blades in the industry of wood, paper, metal, plastic and rubber processing and recycling industry.
Under one umbrella there are more than one dozen companies in 11 countries in Europe, America, Asia and also numerous marketing and service companies which operate on an international basis.
The group operates production sites in Germany, Austria, and Finland. The distribution of the products is done by sales representatives, affiliates and agencies/distributors.
The entity responsible for the ASEAN and pacific region is located in the Selangor.
Key Responsibilities:
• As a customer liaison, responsible for coordinating the inside sales activities with the sales personnel and maintaining positive customer relations
• Plan and carry out inside sales activities to the agreed sales budgets and unplanned sales within the timescale.
• To prepare quotations and ensuring necessarily follow up on quotations and inquiries for respective responsible divisions.
• To follow up with our factories in Europe and/or Asia on the delivery lead time and costing for customized items.
• Follow up on incoming goods to our warehouse and prepare proper inventory documentation required.
• To prepare invoices and arrange delivery of goods to customer within the region which may include physical packing.
• To make cold calls and follow up calls to new and potential customers
• Establish and maintain good relationship with customers by providing the highest level of internal and external customer service.
• To maintain all records related to operation of the sales department.
• To prepare relevant reports related to Sales and Operation meeting held internally or externally.
• To pick-up incoming calls and divert to correct department.
