The Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented, motivated, and driven individual for the role of Frontend Developer. This person will help to create user centred frontends for mobile banking. They will be matured individuals who are comfortable working in an agile environment with critical peer reviews of design and code. They must be able to offer constructive critical reviews of other’s designs and code. They must be able to collaboratively work with product owners to develop use stories and test cases. They will be able to research, trial, and recommend new technologies of interest to the group. They will have experience with taking code through testing, deployment, and production and will not have merely handed off code to QA and Production Support
- Develop frontend components and mobile applications
- Improve existing technologies in use
- Lead systems integration for new and existing components
- Advocate delivery excellence, minimisingÂdelivery risk.
- Agile development of banking services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development.
- Conduct continuous development and/or integration %26amp; testing.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 6+ years of software design and development experience]
- Prior experience working in an agile environment, continuous integration %26amp; testing.
- Experience in delivering software in a regulated environment, ideally financial services based to high quality.
- Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages (HTML/CSS/Javascript, .NET, python, Java, Objective-c, as well as interpreted scripting language experience)
- Strong analytical %26amp; problem solving and creative skills.
- Strong communication and written skills, ability to communicate ideas with others in English.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience with agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming, LeSS, SAFe)
- Strong communication skills to interact with many different personalities/ stakeholders and reach consensus when necessary
