Full job description Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect at S&I Urban Designers located in Kuching. As an Architect.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. Develop architectural designs, concepts, and plans that align with client needs, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements. Produce detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for project planning and execution. Provide innovative design solutions that optimize space utilization, functionality, and aesthetics. Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal standards. Coordinate with project managers and construction teams throughout the construction phase to address any design-related issues and ensure adherence to the design intent. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design capabilities and offerings. Participate in client presentations, meetings, and discussions to present design proposals, address feedback, and foster positive relationships. Qualifications Architecture and Architectural Design skills Experience in project management Knowledge and proficiency in software development integration Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines Experience in the construction industry is a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field Job Type: Full-time
