Architectural Designer

Production of drawings relating to a project from concept to construction stage. Assists with the coordination of the project design and project team. Production of Design Reports. Confers with clients, consultants, local authorities and contractors during various stages of project development. Assist in authority submission for local projects. Assist in contract administration Assist in the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction and/or alteration of buildings. Assists in taking the "brief" to identify clients' needs and putting together feasibility reports and design proposals. Assists in developing ideas, keeping in mind client's needs, building's usage and environmental impact. Assists in controlling project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design. Assists in producing detailed blueprints and making any necessary corrections. Assists in compiling project specifications. Assists in keeping within budgets and timelines. Assists in ensuring that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations. Assists in site visits to check on project status and report on project Cooperates and liaises with construction professionals. Travel as and when necessary. Any other ad hoc duties assigned. Requirements Competent knowledge and application of following software:-  MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Photoshop / InDesign, Technical Detailing / Specification Relevant degree in Architecture, with at least 3 years experience. QP (Qualified Person) professional qualification & BOA is an advantage. Self-motivated and result orientated with good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read, write and speak Mandarin is an advantage. Willing to travel.
