As400 Developer

**Job Summary**:Looking for 6 to 9 Years of experience (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes) resource who has knowledge in RPG/400,COBOL/400,DB2/400,CLLE.**Key Responsibilities**:- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues.- Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators- Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.- Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.- Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation.- Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance.**Essential Skills**:- At least 6 years' experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology- Proficient in IBM AS400 platform, RPG, COBOL, CL programming- Knowledge in RPG/400, DB2/400.- Good understanding and experience in of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)- Well-versed in-service management/production support- Strong leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills.- High level of integrity takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.**Nice to Have Skills**:- DevOps- ALDON (automation of software deployment on AS400**Qualifications**:- Strong knowledge on RPG/400,CLLE, COBOL/400,DB2/400.**#LI-CTSAPAC****Employee Status **:Full Time Employee**Shift **:Day Job**Travel **:No**Job Posting **:Aug 10 2023**About Cognizant
