Summary The role of assessor is to critically assess the environmental, health & safety, and labor conditions for workers in manufacturing settings across industries. Assessor will be expected to critically analyze facility practices against local laws, client codes of conduct, and best practices alone or under supervision of supervisor. Expected to meet Key Performance Targets related to report turnaround time, report quality and management KPIs as per the annual goal setting. Essential Duties Undertake general and basic social compliance assessments based on ELEVATE social compliance assessment procedures and specific client expectations outlined in Field Instruction (FI). Deliver quality report according to ELEVATE and client protocols and timelines; Maintain knowledge of ELEVATE social compliance assessment procedures and local labor laws; Interactions primarily with internal team members, such as training, coordinator and administrative. Maintain knowledge of ELEVATE social compliance assessment procedures and local labor laws. Work with team members(co-assessors) to accomplish tasks during on site assessment and reporting process. Adhere to all company policies relating to integrity and confidentiality of information. Stay high integrity for schedule leakage, unhealthy consultant on site and bribery attempts. Qualifications College graduate, major in Law, English, Safety engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Industry, Textile or related discipline. Knowledge of international, national and local laws and standards that apply to labor compliance. Awareness of prevalent issues in the region that require sensitivity, or further investigation. Able to competently undertake processes specific to supplier compliance assessments, including but not limited to conducting sensitive and confidential worker interviews, reviewing worker records, and performing wage tests and calculations. Experience in assessments related to forced labor/ immigrant workers is preferred. Good command of reading and writing English Ability to travel frequently locally and abroad. Proactive,open-minded,good atlearning,ableto work underpressurewithastrongsense of responsibilityandteamwork Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics. Independent, well-organized and detail-oriented High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet-research / reporting / analysis tools. Preferably having APSCA RA auditor status.
