Assistant Buyer

The Job:- Responsible to provide support to Buyer to achieve buying objectives and order target.- To read, analyse and act on weekly, monthly and seasonal sell-through report by brands, department and categories.- To liaise effectively with various store head in-charge on product strengths and weaknesses.- Assist buyer in reviewing order before proceed to order confirmation and submission.- Assist buyer on identifying fast and slow-moving stock, manage stock replenishment and markdown.- Assist buyer in executing seasonal buy with buying budget allocated.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, sports management or fashion design with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in buying, especially in sports retail environment.- Possess good retail, buying and merchandising acumen, good analytical skills and good sense for market trends.- Knowledge and experience in product development would be a plus.- An eye for detail and head for figures.- Good computer skills with good teamwork.- Possess own vehicle and able to travel.Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:- Kuching: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Experience**:- retail merchandising: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- Mandarin (required)
